This tri-sutras was elaborated into another eight divisions. Earlier times of ayurveda there was two main schools of Ayurveda which was Atreya and Dhanvantari, in this Atreya was the school of physicians and dhanvantari was the school of surgeons. These both schools made ayurveda scientifically verifiable and classifiable medical system. It is said that when diseases and death started to create havoc, all great sages gathered together to find a solution for it, during this time a sage called Bharadvaja took initiative to learn the art of healing from Indra. He then taught it to Atreya who further transmitted this knowledge through out the word. Atreya then wrote Agnivesha Samhita a comprehensive form of ayurveda. It is said that concept of ayurveda evolved so. Books of ayurveda was translated to many other languages this itself says that Ayurveda is a type of treatment accepted by the people around the world.
