6 Signature Looks
What makes an attractive man? I'd say confidence and a sense of humour are tied for first. Of course, great clothes and fabulous jewellery never hurt either. So what are some of the signature styles that never fail to make head turns?
1. A bright coloured shirt with a classic suit.
Dress up a tan, grey or black suit with a bright coloured shirt. If it's summer time, feel free to loose the tie and open up a couple of buttons at the top.
2. White.
People tend to shy away from white for many reasons. It dirties easily, and it's typically not the most flattering colour. But it looks absolutely fabulous in the summer. The reason - it makes your tan pop even more. White is fabulously paired with colourful espadrilles, and some fun jewellery - preferably gold.
3. New uses for denim.
Denim is one of those great materials that lasts forever and only gets better with age. And as you know, it's not only limited to jeans. Long denim skirts, blazers, and hats can be added to any outfit to give it a bit more personality. The key to denim is knowing how to pair it. A denim blazer with a pair of navy blue trousers for instance, work very well together.
4. Man bags.
Not every man has the confidence to carry a bag. But if you can find one that suits your style as well as the purpose of your day, you're in business. Leather briefcases, canvas totes, or a cool book-strap are all great ways to accessorise a look.
5. Sports watches.
Throw a platinum Rolex on a man's wrist and it's going to look good, throw a bright orange Swatch on him and it's a hit or miss. Men who brave plastic, sports watches can make them look very cool. And of course you would expect to see this kind of watch on their wrist while they're playing sport or sailing in the summer, but it's almost sexier if they're wearing it with a suit or any kind of ready-to-wear attire.
6. Lace-up loafers.
Lace-up loafers should be a part of every person's wardrobe - men or women. They look great with shorts, skirts, and rolled up trousers. They flatter the ankle, show off its jewellery - ankle bracelets on women are so back in! - and are of course never to be worn with socks!
