Conditions
There are some orthodontic conditions which can successfully be treated using Invisalign. A crossbite which occurs when the upper and lower teeth are not properly aligned can be treated. Other conditions like crowded teeth and an open bite can be sorted using Invisalign. Crowded teeth happen when the jaw space is not enough for all the teeth, while an open bite occurs when the upper and lower teeth do not meet when you bite.
Aligners
Your aligners will be created, and you will be required to wear them throughout except when eating and brushing your teeth. Your teeth will begin to shift to the required position as you wear the aligners. You will be required to wear a new set of aligners every two weeks. Your orthodontist will provide you with the necessary set of aligners which will take you up to the time of your next appointment. Your appointments will probably be about every six weeks, and the orthodontist will check whether your treatment is on point.
Maintenance
You can clean your aligners by brushing them gently and rinsing them off in lukewarm water. Ensure that you brush and floss your teeth daily to maintain your oral health during treatment.
