Advertising Tips For Facebook

We all know that Facebook is a big Phenomenon and is getting bigger all the time. Many companies that join Facebook think that advertising on a social network is easy, but is not.
Why it isn't easy? Because all the work comes after you create a Facebook fan page and because you have to build a relationship with the people. People come to Facebook to share things, photos, games and to talk to their friends, they don't want to buy anything- that is the main idea when a Facebook user log in to his account. Like a marketer, what you can do about it? This is the reason why I'm gone share with you some useful tips.
Establish a connection with people; don't be so "cold". If you promote a product is normal that only thing that you have in mind is to sell, wrong concept when you doing social network marketing. You have to convince people the way your product can bring them good benefits like a recommendation to a friend. Creating a Facebook fan page is easy, but this doesn't mean that you can rest without doing anything. You need Facebook users to "like" your page, the only way that your fan page can gain more fans. Let people know about the existence of your fan page by advertising on Facebook. You can create a targeted ad, connect your fan page to your website, join other marketers, link back to your fan page by joining forums, etc.
Get your fans talk about your fan page. Initiate an interesting discussion by posting quality status updates on your Facebook Wall, photos, videos or anything related to your brand.
When posting updates, stay on topic. If your Facebook Page is about weight loss for example, don't post something about dating or the latest games. Your intentions might be good (i.e. you want to share exciting news about something that matters to you), but that's not good for your business "online presence". People expect Facebook Pages to be an exclusive resource for specific themes and topics.
Accept and respond to feedback. Facebook is all about establishing relationships with people. And the only way that your business will be able to establish a relationship with any customer is if you speak with them. So when someone leaves a question or comment on your wall, answer them!
Create a good image for your brand. You need to be careful with what people say about your brand. Everyone has an opinion to share; you want that opinion to be positive not negative. You need to know better your fans, what they have in mind. You have to participate!
