What is Heaven?
What heaven is to you depends on belief system, expectancy and consciousness. Some people do not believe that there is anything existing beyond what they experience through the five senses. There are many of us who do see, feel and interact with angels, spiritual teachers, friends, relatives and strangers who vibrate in the invisible worlds of light. If you are sensitive, clairvoyant and open in your mind and heart, you know without a doubt that life is a continuum and anything is possible. Not all experiences are holy because the afterlife is very similar to physical life, as we know it. There is a wide range of moral and spiritual evolution on earth, which continues in the invisible planes. When we physically die, we are not automatically saints who sit on the right-hand of God and know all things. Our consciousness follows us whether we exist in spirit or matter.
Many of us who have direct mystical visions from the heaven worlds, prefer to focus on the sublime events because of their beauty, wisdom and wonder. Although they are extraordinary compared to what is considered normal human activities, I am actually fascinated by ordinary soul activities on the other side. What I mean by ordinary is the interaction of friends, family and strangers who have physically left their bodies and choose to remain in the lower invisible worlds for a spell. Many writers refer to the lower realms as the emotional-astral plane.
To describe ordinary according to the perspective of a neighbor of mine who had a near death experience while swimming will be interesting to readers who have not examined the idea of ongoing life. When he temporarily left his body and his soul visited the lower astral plane, he was both surprised and disappointed. He expected heaven as described by his church and all he saw were people walking around everywhere. My neighbor did not have conscious knowledge of the various planes that exist according to a developed consciousness. Since his stay was brief, he did not have an opportunity to discover the complexity and vastness of the hierarchical planes of consciousness existing side by side.
What I find interesting is how souls who have physically died are so nonchalant when they are no longer in a physical body. After my mother's death, she appeared reminding me about having the data on her gravestone upgraded. The man I was dating four years ago died unexpectedly. He appeared in my kitchen addressing me in his own special way requesting that I tell his married daughter to locate a very old and special wallet squirreled away somewhere in his home. It turned out that sentimental notes, stubs and other personal treasures from the time he and his wife were lovers were hidden in his old wallet. From thirty-eight years of ongoing firsthand glimpses of the many levels of consciousness in the invisble worlds, I am convinced that the invisible matches the visible more than humans dare imagine. Many souls have unfinished business, concerns about loved ones and attachments. They are not ready to let go of their earth concerns until there is some form of resolution. It is desire that holds souls in the lower regions of light. Once the desires are satisfied and they assimilate their recent life journey and are ready for change, the lingering will stop. The exception is when a loved one calls them for support and love.
A lifetime of access to subtle realities ranging from the very lowest vibrations to luminous regions of Light has provided priceless and revealing information offering comfort, understanding, amusement, healing, magic, beauty, love and wisdom. A certainty is awakened in the mind and heart with direct communication. Ongoing contact with both the ordinary and extraordinary is for me tangible evidence of a Grand Architect and Plan.
