Why do companies do this, it is not because they want to trouble the consumers but to try and identify the customers' needs and wants to serve them in a better way and hence remain in business.
The advanced technology of our era allows these companies to have a wider customer base through the internet. It is not possible for the companies to give out feedback forms to a customer each time. So, these companies send out surveys or hire a third party to do the surveys. The data collected through the surveys will be analized to develop the business and the future plans of the company. This is where ordinary people like you and me ( consumers) play a significant role by giving our opinions. We have been doing this all the time but never realized it. Even if we did we never earned anything but now the time has come where we can make money by giving our opinions.
