The New Year is upon us and that means it's time to start planning for vacation! Summertime in Mexico is here, and until May you will enjoy rain-free days and crisp, clear sunny skies. Taking an RV road trip to Mexico is a great way to see Mexico's many sites. If you enjoy traveling in groups and meeting new people, then you should look into a caravan tour of Mexico. Baja Amigos: Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours is owned and run by a couple of Canadians who have been RV camping in Mexico since 1985. Four tours are offered throughout the year, three 28-day tours in January, February and March as well as one 45-day 'snowbird' tour in November and December. Baja and Back: Baja and Back has been taking RV campers from San Diego, to Cabo San Lucas since 2003. In 2011, three tours are offered. In January, a 28-day tour is offered from January11th to February 7th. A 36-day tour is scheduled from February 15th to March 22 and another 36-day tour is offered from February 18th to March 25th. Adventure Caravans: Adventure Caravans offers RV caravan tours in the U.S., Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Central America as well as destinations oversees. A variety of tours in Mexico are available throughout the year. Several tours are available to explore the Copper Canyon region of Sonora and Chihuahua, lasting from 13 up to 57 days. A 59-day Yucatan tour will take you to explore Mayan ruins and deserted beaches. A 66-day Yucatan-Belize-Guatemala tour is also available. Adventure Tours: Adventure Tours offers a 70-day, 6200-mile RV caravan tour from Mexico to Panama and back. In addition to exploring Mexico, you will get to see Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. The tour leaves January 25, 2011. While the weather up north may be cold and dreary, in Mexico, its always summer. An RV caravan tour is a great way to see the sights of Mexico and visit some destinations that you may never get to see on your own. Caravans also give you a chance to meet fellow travelers and create lasting friendships.
