After the solar cells are installed, make sure you have a battery situated in the vicinity that is capable of holding the electricity. The connecting wire from the negative and positive ends of the solar panel will be fed to the battery. For long distances, many people prefer to have wire that is encased in BX conduit. However, for some solar systems, there is special wiring that is designed to be exposed to the sun.
For anyone considering a massive undertaking, they should also be aware that they would need to purchase an inverter that can transform the DC current to AC current. This is not needed for small units that store the energy in a battery. These smaller units are very practical for many people, though, and a great way to become exposed to Solar Energy.
