Most students own a mobile phone, whether it be elementary to college. Now, to make your mobile phone as a useful tool in your student life; other than for calling and texting, here are some tips:

1. Time Management Since most students procrastinate and find it hard to manage their time, what better way to incorporate mobile phones to help them. Some phones have alarms, reminders, calendars, timers, schedulers and organisers. Before you decide on doing random tasks, make a schedule, timeline, and make sure that the things you do will fit in that timeline. Your mobile will help you, it will act as a reminder or alarm you that you have more things to do. You can establish time for doing your chores, task, homework, personal time and so on until you reach your goal for the day within the timeline. Calendars come in handy especially for projects that are due days or weeks ahead.

2. Take advantage of group calling. Some phones will allow you group calls, which saves time, this is very helpful when you are doing group projects, brainstorming or asking your friends for advice. You can save more time having the needed people on the line at the same time, rather than calling them up one by one. 3. Audio tools and recorders. Some mobile phones are capable off recording voices. This is very helpful for those who tend to forget. Instead of the usual note or reminder, you can set the recorder to help you remember important stuff; like a task you need to complete, studies, homework, studying foreign language, pronunciations, etc. This is a very useful tool when you are an auditory learner, you remember better when you hear it rather than see it.

4. Cameras. Make use of your cameras other than taking self photos or pictures of your friends, pet, family, etc. This is good when you want a visual of a presentation or report that you can't copy but don't want to forget. If you are out on a store or library and see something that catches your eye or think might be useful for your project or wok then take a picture and save it.

5. E-books. Instead of reading ebooks from your laptop or computer, you can read them with your phone. This is way more convenient since phones are smaller and lighter. Other than that, you can also download your favorite e-books and read them when stuck in traffic or when riding the train, commuting, etc.

Those are just a few helpful tips for students and time management with the help of mobile phones. This is true especially if you are student, some say mobile phones are a distraction to your study.
