Internet Marketing Success With Video
Internet Marketing success with video - online video has emerged as one of the best techniques to tell your story in Internet Marketing. This simple and familar format offers a great way to reach large audiences, whilst at the same time telling in picture form your core message and driving loads of potential traffic to your website. More traffic, of course, means more sales - equals more money.
Gone are the days when to produce good video clips you needed the expense of a professional but now the amateur or the ordinary man in the street can produce a high-quality video using such software as Camtasia.
However, before you aim the camera at something you need to define your objectives and marketing goals. The first question you need to ask is 'what do you want this video to achieve?' Is this about creating a marketing funnel? Driving traffic to your website? What key messages are essential to convey to your audience of your website. These are all questions that need answers if you are to make money online.
Here are some of the goals achievable through video clips:-
Video always increases 'direct traffic' to your website - somehow people like to see before they hear. Educate people about the products you sell - maybe demonstrating them. Developing brand awareness and communicating your company's culture. Video helps build inbound links to the company's website. Video helps build credibility with personal testimonials. Try and put yourself in your customer's shoes, think about what they might be interested in watching and what they'd find beneficial to learn about your business product or service.
But before we begin let's make a few notes, especially if it's your first video as it is important to give it some structure just like you would for any other project, taking a few minutes to develop a 'video shot list' or a story board will reap great rewards and help you stay on track and clearly save time in the long run.
Think about the visual experience you want to give your customers and prospects, ask yourself what is the purpose of your video? remember revisiting your goals will help you establish a shot sequence.
Perhaps your opening shot is a customer's testimonial, even shot on the customer's premises.
How will you show your product or service, will you show it actually doing the stuff in situ, or are you just going to point out the main features. Answering these questions will help you how to present the best qualities of the product to your audience.
What is you video's call-to-action? Working this out will help you choose your closing shot, perhaps directing them to your website or driving them to sign up for a webinar and maybe, clicking on a link for a freebie.
Always keep in mind that your video should have a clear purpose. It needs to answer questions that your audience is thinking about when they start watching for example if your video title was 'How to clean your car in just 5 minutes' don't talk about your cleaning product which you are selling to do the job for 2 minutes or more before you actually demonstrate the product working on a car.
