Never Pay For Leads With Money From Your Pocket Again...

Are you a struggling newbie on the internet, just like we all are in the beginning, totally confused by all of the 'offers to help' from many, many websites on the internet? Have you already laid out far too much money while you try to establish some kind of presence, or dare I say it, some kind of income from the web?Don't get me wrong - there are many excellent packages out there that are a godsend to everybody - if only you knew how to actually use them.My wife Jane and I started out on the internet some 18 months ago, and we spent the greater part of that time going to seminars, training sessions, and buying all sorts of fancy products. We spent more than just a small fortune on a whole range of products and services, in an attempt to get to that elusive goldmine on the web everyone talks about. We also spent part of that small fortune in buying leads from all and sundry. I remember once, we bought 5,000 'qualified' property investor leads, and with great gusto and hope we emailed these unqualified people a superb offer on real estate that they could not possibly refuse…But would you invest a load of money in somebody you had had no dealings with in the past - NO!In the end, our success did not come about through any of this; it actually came through our persistence in getting to meet the 'gurus' at the various events we went to. By purchasing the master rights to a very expensive Private Label product - a monthly membership program - we managed to secure some very worthwhile joint ventures, which meant all of a sudden, our monthly cashflow became slightly, and then rapidly, very positive month on month.Unlike many of you, we were able, due to our perseverance in getting to meet the right people, to live a good, wholesome and comfortable life again.With lifestyle secured, we turned our attention to what we had been doing wrong for so long, that had cost us virtually all of our life savings…Where we had gone wrong in the past was that we had become a 'butterfly'. We would hop from project to project, and when nothing happened in a few days - guess what? We gave up and moved on to the next 'investment'. In fact, our coach at about that time, Stephen Pierce, shouted at us to 'Keep Focussed!' Now for those of you who know Stephen Pierce, being shouted at from three feet away is a very scary event!What we did not realise, as we fluttered from one topic to another, was that there was so much collective potential in what we had abandoned, that had we persevered, we may have found our success so much earlier. We looked at the various schemes we had got involved in over the last two years - Push Button Publishing, Traffic Swarm, Traffic Oasis, SFI, and many, many other schemes - all of which had failed not just due to perseverance, but because in our naivety, we used to go out and buy thousands of unqualified leads, like throwing mud up against the wall, hoping some of it would stick.Starting again, with this 'clean sheet' approach, and with at least a secure income from the internet, we examined where we - like thousands of others before us, and probably thousand more to follow - had gone wrong.The answer really was there all the time, Right from our first introduction to the internet, we had been told to build up our sales funnel , so what did we do - we went hell for leather to try and sell low cost products to all and sundry.OK, we had had some success, and built up a small list, but every sale was a one off, and we never really planned any follow through. We rashly bought a web site with a supposedly 3,000 strong mailing list, but they were either dead or so unresponsive - after all who were we? We had no relationship with that list whatsoever...So - time to switch tactics. Out went the idea of promoting our primary business up front, and IN setting up and nurturing our own lists.We were about to revisit all the old sites we had signed up for in the past, when we came across a system called a 'Funded Proposal'. Like you, we thought what the heck is one of them?Well, let's take good old MacDonald's as an example. You go in, not for the quality, but for the low cost burgers, or your kids may have dragged you there.So what do you think McDonald's has as its primary business (apart from real estate)?No - its not the burgers, it's the 5 cents worth of flavoured water they sell you for about $2.50. The burger is the 'funded proposal'.So, Jane and I looked to see if we could find any 'funded proposal' systems on the internet, and we did.One brilliant one that as well as having this 'funded proposal', it also included a 21 day training program to make you stick to it and make sure you succeed. The idea is that it entices you in with a free offer, shows you a way to at least rotate your initial small investment, building up a list, which you can then start offering other products from their portfolio, making more profits and a bigger list, which you repeat and repeat and repeat, building up steadily growing streams of residual income.Also, by the time you have gone over their 21 day training program, we found that we had completely revised everything we had ever learnt about internet marketing, but by applying it on a controlled basis, we were no longer pouring money down the toilet, but actually showing quite a healthy profit.The idea is that as your profits come in, you re-invest them in purchasing proven high quality leads from sources that they recommend. In our first week, before we had even completed their training course, we had got an extra 81 people in our down line, all following the low entry cost route that we had taken. Already many of them were signing up for the various up sells we had had to offer, and they are all going to be quite receptive to us when we introduce them to our primary business. All this profit was then readily available for re-investing on more high quality leads - without using cash out of our own pockets.Now we have done the ground work, and are starting to create yet more income streams for ourselves, we felt it only fair we should share this little secret with you.
