How to Find a Romantic Man

Finding a Romantic Man can seem like finding a needle in a haystack. Very few men are naturally romantic. Many can be romantic while they are wooing you, but the romance ends once he has caught you.

So part of finding and keeping a romantic man is keeping the challenge in your relationship. When you stop acting romantic so will he.

In the beginning of a relationship you actually listen what he has to say. You take care with your makeup. Your hair is just so and your appetite diminishes so you can fit into those fabulous dresses and skinny jeans. But once you have got him, the chocolates come out and the makeup gets tucked back in the drawer. Why would he want to act romantically when you obviously have stopped trying to look amazing for him?

Now back to the issue of how to find a romantic man, in the first place. Where do you go to meet a romantic man? Truly romantic men come in all shapes and sizes. They also come from every type of background imaginable. I have met jean clad southern gentlemen who wouldn't think of arriving without roses and I have also met Armani clad jerks who couldn't show up for a date on time if a gun was pressed to their heads. Don't assume that being from a particular background signals means that the romance gene is automatically installed.

First look at the way he is dressed. If he takes care of his appearance, he may be more willing to take the extra time to take care of you. This doesn't mean showing up in a tux. Is he groomed nicely? Has he shaved?

If you are going on a first date with a man, is he on time? If he is not willing to take the time to be on time, the probability of whatever romantic gestures he may bestow upon you lasting is little to none.

Read the signs as the come to you. Is this guy a flash in the pan romantic? Or does his romantic gestures last over time?
