Choose the bricks carefully, get involved in online projects and make sure you offer your audience quality content. • Be passionate. Passion is what drives us to achieve greatness. At least this is what we have read on a facebook image, and if it’s on facebook it must be true (that’s a joke, of course)! But being passionate about what you do and sharing it with evident pleasure is a good way to attract attention and keep your audience focused on your brand. • Get selective about where you promote your personal brand. While being active in all media channels, writing daily on your blog and getting involved in all sorts of online events is surely a beautiful thing to do if you want to have a strong personal brand, it might also be too much to do all at once. Depending on what time you have on your hands for this task, choose your channels carefully and focus on each one until you see it developing into a community. • Be prepared to be a role model. Because this is what you will become when your personal branding strategy will get successful. Being a role model comes with responsibilities so make sure you are prepared to be one.
