Are You Afraid? Then Brazen Up Your Fear!

Is it really a shameful matter to admit our fear? If it is not, why are so many people shunning away when I ask them if they are afraid of something? Do you happen to be one of them?

Now, if it is still unknown to you, let me tell you the truth. It is definitely alright for us to be fearful of something. We are humans after all.

Even though there are things that may give you goose bumps, make you shiver the moment you see them or make your palms sweaty, you are not a coward.

Of course, these things may not be real. Often the things we fear are the results of our creative minds and our ingenious imagination.

After all, the acronym for fear is False Evidence Appearing Real.

Most of your fears are imaginary fears and they don’t exist. Yet!

However, by holding those images of your fears vividly in your mind, you will unconsciously attract them into your life or even tend to do something to make those fears come true.

Has it happened to you before? Creating a fear from your imagination and bring it into reality? I believe everyone has for I am guilty of doing it at times too.

Now, your fears can be formed as early as your childhood days and yet they have the ability to stay with you as you grow up and influence your life. Can you think of some fears which you have been holding on to since you were a child?

So what does that proves? Well, simply put, to really eliminate and conquer fears, you will have to be determined, focused and most importantly, you must willingly to eliminate them.

Now we all know that the types of fears vary from person to person. Some may be imaginary while others are definitely real, like phobias.

So the next question is how do you go about eliminating those fears?

Of course, the best way to conquering your fear is to seek professional help. There is no better advice that I can give to help you get rid of your fears.

However, as I always mentioned, to really start doing anything, you must first have the desire to do it.

Now let me ask you a few questions:

• Are your fears hindering you in making progresses in your life? • Are you constantly being disturbed by your fears, even while you are asleep? • How long have you hold on to those fears? And how long do you intend to keep them before letting them go? • How do you feel when holding on to these fears? • What negative impacts do your fears have on your life? Financial, relationships, time etc... • Do your fears also affect the lives of your close ones? If so, how are their lives affected?

The reason why I ask you to answer these questions is because I want you to find your core desire to eliminate fear.

As I have mentioned earlier, one will need focus, determination and perseverance when seeking to get rid of the fears in their lives.

However, all these will not help you if you are not 100% committed to doing so.

You can go to the best doctor to get the best therapy to treat your fears. However, if you are unwillingly to be cured, no amount of treatment will be able to help you.

Thus, you must first be your own doctor and administer you first fear treatment to yourself.

Remember, no one but yourself can give you this treatment.

Having your mind set on eliminating your fears is not sufficient. It is also necessary to have your heart set in doing so.

So now the question is, is your mind and heart set in freeing yourself from your fears?
