One of the major challenges that our coaching clients face in their businesses is simply ‘how to close the sale’!A lot of people feel helpless at this aspect of the business because they feel that the choice is up to the customer or prospect. For the most part, they are right. We cannot force a person to sign an application. However, as profitable business people, there are a few things that you can do to guide the prospects decision in your favor!I look at it kind of like dating. If a guy sees a pretty girl at the bar and he wants to ask her out, he needs to make sure he does a couple of things right to increase the chance of her going out with him. So he runs to the bathroom. He makes sure his hair is perfect, his smile is just right, and his clothes are not messy. He throws a stick of gum in his mouth to make sure his breath is okay and puts on some cologne. It always helps to have a couple of bucks in your pocket in case she wants a drink JBased on these action steps, he feels enough confidence to go up to the lady and ask her out. These few steps that he took prior to speaking to her can be controlled.Just like dating, there are a couple of things we can do as distributors to raise the chance of a person wanting to join our company. Here are 8 quick questions you can ask yourself and get ready for prior to asking someone to “dance: with you in your business: 1. Do I appeal to my prospects desire for financial gain?2. Do I appeal to my prospects desire to have more control over their time and life?3. Do I appeal to my prospects desire for freedom?4. Do I appeal to my prospects desire for power, respect and fame?5. Do I appeal to my prospects desire to avoid pain, to be secure, for self-preservation?6. Do I appeal to my prospects desire for love and belonging?7. Do I appeal to my prospects desire for revenge against the doubter's in their life?8. Do I appeal to my prospects desire to be on a winning team, to be on the inside of something BIG?Yes, the name of the game is appeal. You have to appeal to your prospect. They have to ultimately believe that you are the person that can help them get what they want.I guarantee that if you apply these 8 principles into your prospecting, you’ll certainly increase your sponsorship ratios! It’s all about being prepared before you talk to someone. Use these effectively and you’ll be amazed at the results.Make it a profitable day!David PynnResults Provider for Thousands
