Berries are another superfood that have been found to help with weight loss. Some berries are better than others in terms of nutrient density, but they're all good plus they taste great. Berries are rich in antioxidants and other phytonutrients and will provide a level of prebiotic factors for probiotic growth. Do you often crave for sweets? Berries have natural sugars, so that's one more reason to eat them instead of the unhealthy, processed sweets. The antioxidant compounds such as phenols are also considered a prebiotic factor, and they will scavenge free radicals and help eliminate or kill the unhealthy gut bacteria that competes with healthy bacteria. You can lose weight with the help of berries because these superfoods promote healthy digestion and bowel movement.
