How A Batch Type Asphalt Mixing Plant Works? Different sized dry aggregates are put into the cold aggregate silo. The collecting and charging belt conveyors deliver the feed to the drying drum. Using a special control system and counter-flow heating method, the drying drum dries the aggregates to a specific temperature. The aggregates are rotated several times in the drum while the dust gravity collectors collect the dust. The hot aggregate lifter then lifts the hot aggregate and the coarse filler, and discharges it into the hot aggregate sieving machine. The gravity collector and the dust bag collector collect the filler. With the use of spiral conveyor, this filler is sent to the recovering filler feeding system. All the mixed material is discharged out to the lifting truck or material handling dump truck. Hoist carries the mixed material to the mixed material storage silo.
