What Careers do You Get the Most Out Of
For many of us, working is a necessity that is ingrained in to our daily routine and acts solely as a source of finance. However, for some lucky people their jobs and careers go way beyond that and provide both a source of income and a huge sense of wellbeing and satisfaction. Here we look at some of the jobs that are available where the rewards go beyond a monthly pay packet. <br/><br/> Charity Work <br/><br/> Have you ever walked down the street and been badgered for your loose change or to sign a petition by what some are calling 'chuggers' (charity-muggers)? It must be horrible for these people to be out in the freezing cold and be powerless to stop so many people walking past them and ignoring their efforts to raise money for worthy causes. However, we can turn that idea around and look at it in a more positive light; they get paid to be out doors all day (not in a stuffy office), their job is essentially to chat to people and for every person that they get to donate just a tiny amount of money, they know that they are helping someone, somewhere that desperately needs it. <br/><br/> Artist <br/><br/> Being an artist or indeed being in any other creative position is sure to see your friends be jealous of you. Imagine being in a position where you have no boss to report to thus getting to decide your own working schedule. Artists are not only in control of what they do and when, but they are also doing something creative where they get to see a finished product at the end of their graft. Presumably many artists went down that career path as it is something they love, not just something that they were put forward for by the job centre and on top of that when their work is bought they have the satisfaction of knowing that someone else is deriving pleasure from the fruits of their labour. <br/><br/> Nursing <br/><br/> Nursing may not be everyone's idea of a glamorous career with the long shifts and having to deal with some of the less pleasant sides of the human body. However, that is more than made up for by the rewards that it offers. In many countries nurses are respected as qualified professionals and with these qualifications they are able to relocate to a different city much easier than many other professionals as no matter where you go in the country or world even, people will always need health care. There are also a wide range of nursing occupations to choose from ranging from NHS nursing jobs to as far as mental health nursing jobs. <br/><br/> However, the most rewarding thing for nurses must be knowing that they are helping people to recover from whatever physical or mental anguish with which they are suffering. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>
