Effortless Wisdom is a Thought Away

by Richard Blackstone

Here is how we are going to use our past history. We are not going to judge ourselves for anything that we have experienced in the past. We are also not going to judge ourselves for anything we do in the present. What we experienced in our past is just that. An experience. It is neither right nor wrong. It is just an experience. From now on, when we review our past, we are going to observe what our experiences were and then see if they serve us or do not serve us in alignment with our definition of who we are.

Just as we are not going to judge ourselves, we are going to stop judging the people, events and circumstances that show up in our lives. In order to do this you are required to open up your mind and put aside any pre-conceived notions that you have about all aspects of this physical world. You cannot be attached to what you expect the outcome of an event to be.

“Open to everything and attached to nothing” needs to be your mantra. Acceptance of all events, people and experiences is your key to awareness. When you judge these things, you put limits on them and restrict their ability to serve you.

Judgment is the catalyst for the torment and struggle you have experienced in your life. If you choose to give up judging the people, events and circumstances of your life you will, in effect, give up the struggle in your life. When you give up judging you will find that life is effortless, just like nature.

Nature doesn't judge the flowers in spring, and the flowers unfold effortlessly before us. Nature doesn't judge the rains that fall, and the rainwater effortlessly forms a river.

We are part of nature and we have this same ability. All it requires is the same thing that nature does. Accept all things as they are and do not be attached to them. Observe that events, experiences, and people that show up in your life are just that. Events, experiences and people. They are neither right nor wrong. Don't judge them as right or wrong. Observe them and see if they serve you. If they do not serve you then choose again and create that. Do this effortlessly and in alignment with nature.

When you do this consciously you learn to continually make more choices that serve you and fewer choices that don't serve you. You consciously realize that it is important to monitor your thoughts and avoid those thoughts that are not in alignment with your definition of who you are.

Your awareness tells you that to choose thoughts in alignment with what you are being empowers you to be even more. However, to choose thoughts that are not in alignment with your higher self disempowers you and keeps you from evolving at a pace that allows the music within you to flow effortlessly.

Tell yourself that you are wise and the wisdom you possess disallows any thoughts that disempower you. Consciously tell yourself that you are wise and your wisdom serves you. Tell the universe in thought and word, “I am wisdom,” and then continue to choose wisely in the actions you take. You will have used the creative process of thought, word and deed and manifested wisdom into your reality.
