1. On Bended Knee - II Laced with the guys strong vocals, they plead for a lover to come back and to give them another chance. The lyrics are lovely, and while I never really enjoyed hearing Michael talk, it's still acceptable here. Wanya's kick at the end is great as he really tears up the track. Overall, a beautiful song.2. End of the Road - CooleyHighHarmony Boyz II Men's first record breaking number, the track features great vocals and well-written lyrics. To think the song was initially just released on a soundtrack is incredible.3. I'll Make Love To You - II Spending 14 weeks at number 1 on the pop charts, the guys must have done something right with their lead single from II, "I'll Make Love To You." Did something right for sure as millions around the world probably made babies to it. The song is seductive and the lyrics are relaxing and wonderful. It really brings you into its grip and lays you down before it, with such power that makes you want to just stand up and sing with it.4. So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday - CooleyHighHarmony Simplistic, yet beautiful. The acapella number is driven purely by beautiful harmonies and great voices. The Boyz really highlight the tragedy of losing a loved one as forever disappears so quickly.5. Oh Well - Full Circle A softer sound than the group's power ballads, Oh Well is a laid back track in which the guys accept that a relationship has fallen apart. The song has a nice sound to it and builds up slowly throughout, showing some of the group's strong mechanics.6. Doin Just Fine - Evolution Finally, a song about break-ups that's not depressing. This song has kept me going after a lot of break-ups, and its powerful rejection of a lover trying to come back is wonderful. The lyrics really make this one as they describe a man's ability to overcome his grief and to stand his ground when a past lover comes back.7. I Miss You - Throwback, Volume 1 Typically, I dislike covers. While Boyz II Men did well with their remakes, they weren't really necessary as I was content with the originals for Time Will Reveal, Sara Smile, and Human Nature. I always thought Klymaxx - I Miss You was lacking something and it became clear with Boyz II Men's rendition. The lyrics really come out on this version and that feeling of longing for a lover is brought to life. The vocals are nice and the beat is laid back, a well made cover.8. 4 Seasons Of Loneliness - Evolution With a nice variable pace, 4 Seasons has a fresh sound to it. The song starts off slowly and picks up quickly only to repeat the mix. The lyrics are also clever, tying in the memories of a relationship to the seasons of a year.9. Thank You - II The best tribute song to fans, Thank You has a real catchy sound to it and a great flow. It's a fun track to sing along with and the beat helps get you moving. While the song is nothing ground-breaking and the lyrics aren't incredible, the song just works.10. Thank You In Advance - Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya Thank You In Advance is a clever number in which the guys introduce themselves to a girl by pretending they're her lover from the future. Sure, it sounds cheezy but it's creative and the song features some great lines and solid vocals. Sometimes, cheezy is what it takes to deliver something new and to put a new twist on the standard I Love You song.11. Girl in the Life Magazine - Evolution While a lot of people call the song cheezy and immature for its detailing of an infatuation, I think it's brilliant. Packed with three straight verses, the song weaves a story of a man and his crush. The song is poetic and the vocals are nicely delivered.12. The Color Of Love - Full Circle Built on the classic style of Boyz II Men's old tracks, the song was built around a high production music video. The track is great featuring some more of Wanya's powerful belting and the nice harmonies that really bring the group together. The song has some real strength in it that gets your blood flowing.13. A Song For Mama - Evolution A great mother's day song, this track is a song of gratitude to mothers everywhere. With lovely lines like "Your love is like tears from the stars," the song has a nice wholesome feel to it. Mike's bass adds a nice effect to the track as well as he serves as a great deep line.14. Water Runs Dry - II A nice slow track, Water Runs Dry is about a relationship that's crumbling. The track features the same great delivery and harmonies of the group's biggest hits, just without some of the same umph.15. Motownphilly - CooleyHighHarmony The song that started it all, Motownphilly's got an uptempo sound but it's laced with all the stuff that brought the guys to fame. The song is catchy and the video features the guys in identical clothing, a trait that would run throughout many of their videos.
