The Spectacular Life

Isn’t life spectacular? Isn’t life a wonderful adventure? Isn’t life your most valuable state? Just to be here on this planet that we call earth is great and spectacular. Yet, many or the majority of us just go on as if things are the way they should be and nothing spectacular has taken place. Even for those of us who contemplate the “Big Bang,” theory, it is something to think about. Just think. Big Bang! Doesn’t that sound exciting, dynamic, exhilarating, and creative? And those who believe in creation, by Almighty God can read Genesis in the Bible and read the spectacular and dynamic description of how the world and life was formed. Doesn’t’ that description do something inside of you?

It should move you, because it is talking about you. Yet, what the vast majority of people do is, they live life as if it is a dress rehearsal for a movie script. Successful is the person that can look outside him or herself and see the spectacular movement of life, and notice the seemly insignificant things such as the ant, the bird, and the flowers, feel the air and the intensity of the Sunlight. Our lives are microcosms of what we see all around us. What we see around us is also “in us.” We are a life with a will to choose to be, do, and to have what we desire and work to attain deep in our mind.

Ah! The human brain, that most spectacular, stunning gray matter that even the world’s biggest computer could not match, is so under used that if we were to use 25% of our brains, (I believe) we could probably learn 50 languages, memorize the entire Oxford English Dictionary, learn a dozen or so sciences with a PHD in all of them in a relatively short period of time. It has been said through the ages, “What the mind can conceive and believe the mind can achieve.”
