Solaglas Opens New South Yorkshire Facility
Solaglas Installation, part of manufacturing giant Saint-Gobain, has opened its new 60,000 square metre headquarters in Manvers, South Yorkshire.
As a result the company, which specialises in the installation and maintenance of all glass products and emergency glazing, said that it expecting to offer new employment opportunities over the next two years.
In a statement, Solaglas went on to say that the site, known as 'Waterlands', will allow it to provide 'an end-to-end service for individual projects and contracts ranging from £50 to £10 million'. Solarglas Installation was recently formed from three divisions of Solaglas, having previously been based at nearby Hellaby. “The opening of ‘Waterlands’ is key to the growth of Solaglas Installation and part of our journey to become the ‘clear market leader’ within the UK glass business,” said Solaglas's director, Ian Davy.
“Our new base in South Yorkshire means that we are ideally positioned close to major transport networks which will enable us to deliver high-quality manufacturing and excellent customer service to our clients.”
