HOME STAR Energy Retrofit Act of 2010 is a recently recommended legislation which will give $6 billion dollars of incentives to the American folks in hopefulness of generating an estimated 3 million dollars in home modifications, tens of thousands of jobs, and to strengthen the American economy.

HOME STAR is expected to establish jobs throughout existing industries simply by offering powerful short term incentives for energy efficiency improvements in residential houses or buildings. This initiative encourages direct consumer investment in energy efficient appliances, building mechanical systems and insulation, and home inspections focused on energy efficiency improvements.

HOME STAR is expected to quickly produce jobs in both construction and also manufacturing, while saving the American people money on their energy costs.
