Union Plus Credit Card Review - The Ideal Credit Cards For All Circumstances

by Anthony Samuel

If you are looking for a Union Plus Credit Card, then you'll be spoilt for choice as there are five different cards you can compare and apply for.

The card benefits are varied, so I'll try to make it as concise as possible. Here goes.

The first card to step up to the line is the Union Plus Classic Card and it comes with:

• Triple plus protection from fraud, strike skip payment, union review services and an extended warranty. • Triple plus service which includes live customer service, 24 hour personal assistance and merchant dispute services. • Triple plus value which includes no annual fee, discounts and exclusive member rates and benefits.

Next up is the Union Plus Platinum Card

With this card you enjoy all the benefits of the Union Plus Classic plus:

• Minimum limit of $5000. • Price protection, so if you find a cheaper rate in 60 days you'll be refunded the difference. • Purchase assurance.

The third card is the Union Plus Secured Credit Card, and like any secured card you must deposit money onto the account to be able to use the card and gain from the benefits. The minimum deposit for this card is $250 and goes up to $5000.

What does this card do?

• Reports to the credit bureaus so you can rebuild your credit history. • Charges no application fee. • Carries a very affordable annual fee. • After 18 months of good conduct you can apply to trade up.

The penultimate card is the Union Plus Travel Corporate Card. This card is for union leaders specifically and carries no annual fees. The benefits include:

• $250k automatic travel insurance. • Baggage reclaim insurance. • Global customer service and lots more.

There are no details on the website for this card. It seems to be so exclusive that to apply you must call the dedicated number (1-888-428-6466) for an application.

Finally, the last card in the Union Plus range is the Union Plus Rewards Card which is specifically designed for working families and has benefits such as:

• 2,000 bonus points after your first purchase. • Earn 1 Point for every $1 purchase. • Earn 2 Points for every $1 purchase made at gas stations, grocery stores, and drug stores. • You can enjoy traveling, cash rebates and gift vouchers when you redeem your points; this is not bad at all.

These cards are worth looking into as not all the APRs are stated on the websites, although most of the benefits seem quite usable.

It is recommended that you explore other credit card offers as it is always good to compare and evaluate options before making a final decision.
