Like phone counseling, this method offers individuals to take the course from the comfort of their own home. While some people do not have access to the internet at home it could still be easier for them to take the course at a nearby public library. The lack of personal interaction is a factor to be considered. People weigh in on both sides of the anonymity factor. For some it is a disadvantage to not have a person familiar with helping people in similar situations at their disposal. Others find comfort in the anonymous nature of this method. This usually stems from people's fear of dealing with the stigma of financial mismanagement. There is absolutely nothing for you to be ashamed of now. The only people that should feel the sting of the stigma are those who refuse to take responsiblity for their financial situation and continue to subject themselves and their loved ones to such a burdensome lifestyle.
