ACT 2005 Premium

by Jose Vanegas

An introduction to ACT 2005 premium and Prophet.

ACT 2005 premium and Prophet have been going head to head with their CRM software. CRM, otherwise known as customer relationship management, is one of the most sought after programs for many companies. With CRM software, companies can manage their sales of products, as well as monitor the sales for other companies.

An overview of ACT 2005 premium and Prophet.

Two of the most popular products for CRM are ACT 2005 premium and Prophet. Many individuals have had a difficult time accessing through ACT 2005 premium, though. Companies will install ACT 2005 premium thinking that they are receiving a wonderful deal for their purchase. Truth be told, ACT 2005 premium is a difficult program to operate. Many people that work with ACT 2005 premium state that it is difficult to operate as it is not always manageable through Outlook. Outlook, which is a program that is available on many computers, is what generates Prophet and ACT 2005 premium. Unlike Prophet, ACT 2005 premium must be worked on outside of Outlook, and then sent through outlook’s program. Prophet is nothing like ACT 2005 premium in this aspect. actually, Prophet runs entirely through outlook, which is why more and more companies are turning to Prophet for their CRM needs. With Prophet, there are no run is with complications of transactions, which is often evident with ACT 2005 premium.

ACT 2005 premium fails to succeed in sales like Prophet can.

Sales are the one of the most important aspects for a company. A business, no matter if it is a small business, or a large corporation, is constantly looking for additional sales. CRM programs such as Prophet allows for the history of transactions with a company. ACT 2005 premium, on the other hand, also allows for a transACTion record, but ACT 2005 premium requires that it must be created outside of the program, then adapted for Outlook. Corporations and small business all view their time as valuable; therefore, ACT 2005 premium is entirely too time consuming, and calls for extra steps when creating an ACT 2005 premium sales record. When there is extra work that is called for in a CRM program, such as that of ACT 2005 premium, there is less revenue that is coming in. Such a set back as what is given in the ACT 2005 premium program can be detrimental to a company. A business is always looking for sales and new clients, and neither of the two tasks can be accomplished simultaneously with the ACT 2005 premium software.

Account noted can not be easily attached with ACT 2005 premium software.

One of the most important aspects of a contact’s account is the notes that are attached to an account. With both Prophet and ACT 2005 premium, there is an area for notes to be saved for every account. The notes that are saved on both the Prophet and ACT 2005 premium programs can relate to previous sales with between a company and its client. Account notes for Prophet and ACT 2005 premium are sources of records that may need to be divulged for a particular sale in the future. Unlike Prophet, however, ACT 2005 premium has a limit as to how much information can be stored on a file. The more information that is available for an account, the better service a client will receive. When the client is happy, there are higher chances for repeat purchases with a company. ACT 2005 premium fails to meet the standards that many companies are looking for with CRM notes. As a result, a company that uses ACT 2005 premium can not be one hundred percent fully functional for business. ACT 2005 premium can actually hinder the growth of sales for a company, whereas Prophet will only help companies flourish in growth.

ACT 2005 premium is not as cost effective as Prophet.

ACT 2005 premium is a program that is somewhat affordable. Due to the additions that must be made for ACT 2005 premium to function properly, there are many financial setbacks with the ACT 2005 program. This does not hold true for Prophet. Contrary to ACT 2005 premium, Prophet is highly functional, and does not need additional software. Prophet comes as a complete package starting under one hundred dollars, where as ACT 2005 premium is slightly more, and needs additional software all of the time.

File sharing is not permissible with ACT 2005 premium, where as Prophet allows multiple file sharing.

File and account sharing are some of the most requested features for Prophet. With Prophet, a particular account can be viewed by all of those that are networked to the program. This function is not available through ACT 2005 premium. With ACT 2005 premium, there is no room for file sharing of any sort. As a result, ACT 2005 premium has suffered greatly. ACT 2005 premium has failed to make sure that their software is user friendly. Prophet’s CRM software can be networked all through out a company. Unlike ACT 2005 premium, when a program such as Prophet is networked within a company, there are many workers that can have hands-on experience with the files. When there are multiple working people collaborating together for a sale, the odds are that there will be maximum sales benefits issued between the client and the company. Prophet has a positive track record of generating sales, unlike the broken sales records of ACT 2005 premium.

Prophet can run on a centralized network, unlike ACT 2005 premium, which can not function this way.

Just as Prophet can be networked amongst others in a company, it can also be centralized for maximum sharing benefits. The same is not true for ACT 2005 premium. With ACT 2005 premium, there is not a way that records can be shared, nor a central processing unit. ACT 2005 premium fails to hold the capacity for such file sharing. A new server and software would have to be downloaded to ACT 2005 premium in order for the program to operate as well as Prophet does. Going through such laborious tasks as the purchasing of additional software for ACT 2005 premium only turns more and more potential customers away, and drives them to Prophet, the tested and true CRM program.

Prophet software is a better choice over the ACT 2005 premium.

Whether or not Prophet is suitable for a company is entirely up to the sales manager and chief operations manager of a company. It is evident, thought, that ACT 2005 premium can not compete with Prophet in sales and record transactions. Due to this, customers that were once receiving services from ACT 2005 premium are now going with Prophet for all of their CRM needs. Prophet is a highly functional CRM program that is capable of selling itself. As word of mouth gets around at what a wonderful program Prophet is, there will be no denying that ACT 2005 premium will see less clients, while Prophet continues to soar.
