Organizing Scrapbook Supplies
I love managing my scrapbook supplies nearly as much as I love scrapbooking! Sometimes I have a difficult time finding effective orderly ways of organizing my papers, punches, stickers and small embellishments. After much research and testing, here are some ideas that are neat and also cheap!
12 x 12 papers: This This is a difficult one to store! I looked everywhere for an inexpensive way to store these papers and all I could find were holders that cost up to $150. I was about to give in when I found a solution that I only paid $12 for. I purchased some cube wire shelves easily snap together. I made 3 cubes and then used the left over squares to make shelves which I fastened on with zip ties. I put some cardboard in a page protector on each shelf so that the paper would slide in and out easier.
8 x 11 papers: I merely purchased some magazine holders and store my paper vertical. It frees up a lot of space this way.
Stickers: I bought a 12 x 12 accordion file with quite a few pockets in it. I marked each pocket with a different subject like animals, holidays, and alphabets and organized the stickers according to that.
Punches: A small set of plastic desktop drawers is a perfect container for all my punches.
Small Embellishments: A tackle box with many small compartments fit different kinds of embellishments together in one place.
I hope that a few of these tips have aided you in becoming a little more organized once you begin to organize, you may love it just as much as scrapbooking!
