Redrow Offers Substantial Bank Holiday Discounts On Its New Homes in Maldon
Redrow Homes, an award-winning housebuilder is offering a special deal to house hunters looking for new homes in Essex - a substantial £10,000 off the list price of selected properties at its picturesque The Lakes development by the Blackwater Estuary in Maldon. With list prices from £399,950, there are a number of house types available to tempt buyers looking for a high-quality home in the area in an enviable location, surrounded on three sides by water.
In addition to the special offer promotion, Redrow is also sponsoring the Maldon Mud Race, a charity event with origins in the early 1970s, where competitors race across the estuary mud in fancy dress. Raising tens of thousands of pounds every year, it's a major annual event on the calendar in the region.
"It's a great time to reserve a new home this Easter as we are reducing the prices of selected homes for the weekend," says Beryl Williams, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Eastern). "Our homes all feature convivial open-plan living spaces, fashionable kitchen designs with floor to ceiling units, central islands and top brand-name appliances, plus bathrooms that are sleek, modern and pleasing to the eye."
Furthermore, Redrow is offering its part exchange deal to eligible buyers at the scheme, where they will act as a cash buyer to the existing homeowners and make an offer to accept their current home against the cost of a new home at The Lakes within 48 hours. It's a scheme that has already saved many buyers the stress of getting involved in a complex buying chain as well as a small fortune in estate agents' fees.
There's a range of four- and five-bedroom homes on sale as part of the offer, some of which come from Redrow's New Heritage Collection of Arts and Crafts-inspired homes. Their waterside setting on the Essex coast is not only perfect for lovers of the open water, but offers excellent access to nearby coastal resorts and the countryside. It's also not far from Chelmsford, which has an excellent shopping centre and fast commuter rail services to London.
Redrow is keen to underline the advantages of buying a new-build home, not least the financial implications uncovered by its own research:"These modern interiors beat second hand homes hands down when it comes to stylish, practical layouts, being energy efficiency and easy to maintain," adds Beryl. "In fact, we've calculated it could cost more than £30,000 to bring a second-hand home up to the same standard."
The show homes at The Lakes are open the whole Bank Holiday weekend, from 10.30am to 5pm.
