How to Needle Felt a Doll
Needle Felting is a technique used for ages, but lately a new trend has emerged. That of needlefelting a doll. Needle felting has been used for centuries for making felt with a special kind of needle. One would use raw sheeps wool and lay several layers of fibers crisscrossing over a sponge type of mat and poke the needle in and out. By doing this the fibers would meld themselves together creating dry felting.
There is also a method known as wet felting by which a rub board is used in some cases, using the raw wool and creating felt.
