Not too many children can recall original fairy tales like the Little Mermaid because of processed films being showed to the public. For years, Disney's artists and writers created stories about princesses and famous, but today they are timeless. But that does not mean that it is enough to let the kids watch cartoon. Fairy tales should still be read. So, is it important that you read them? What do young girls learn from reading such tales about princesses? Everything good or bad in a fairy tale should be explained how it relates to modern living. The lady hero in this story was described with beauty, enthusiasm, mild and charming. She is very caring to other people and willing to give out help to her seven friends. Of course, there is the evil stepmother who pretends to be a good old lady. And so the child, through the story, encounters the fact that not all people in the world is good.

Looking for love, desire for harmonious home and getting solutions for drastic situations often symbolizes the figure of a Prince in a fairy tale. The sumptuous robes, wands, talking animals and witches are an intriguing set design to the message of the true values that were transferred to small princes. Learning how to love, have the courage to fight and get the hand of a princess is what they need to become a better and more courageous prince. Cartoons, games and magazines are the most common media through which children and we, adults, are enjoying the timeless fairy tales that gives hope and the value of not giving up.

Strengthen your child's potential for learning

Start with short stories. You will soon notice that the child's care will increase constantly. This spread the zone of proximal development, which marks the difference between what a child can only learn and what he can learn with adults. Should it gradually increase during the reading, the child becomes better prepared for self-study.

We need to consider the ages of our children when choosing the right TV programs to watch. There are cartoons such as Winnie the Pooh that can be watched and understand by children of all ages. There are some cartoons that can't be easily understood by kids younger than five, seven or even more than twelve years. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be loved by most kids of all ages, but a boy of three years does not see their struggle to preserve the world from destruction and evil, or can they understand this kind of conflict. What they would only see and understand are the karate kicks. The solution for this could be a warning at the beginning of each cartoon stating the age of the intended viewers.
