Human Pheromones Drive Animal Instincts

We are animals driven by instinct more than intuition and thoughtful decision making. Sure we know the difference between wrong and right. We can stifle instinct with some well harnessed personal restraint. We are the most controlled of animals when it comes to reining in our animal like tendencies desires and yet we still have them, helping to inform decisions and driving us to react to stimuli. Our sexual needs of course are an easily identifiable view of how our instincts are hard to fight off. Our body reacts to the look and shape of a person, child bearing hips for example or a firm rectangular jaw line. It is what drives us towards one another, these are tied into animal instinct. The greatest showing though of instinct is the role that human pheromones a subtle sixth scent of sorts where receptors in our nose pick up indication of mutual attraction given off in some sort of natural body odor.

The smell of human pheromones themselves are virtually unnoticeable to the nose it's self. Instead there is a secondary opening that processes these pheromones. Tapping into these unavoidable but also easily bottled air born hormones has become the stuff of so called love potions for a long time. The perfume and cologne industries of course have been utilizing this science and have come up with pheromone perfume and pheromone cologne that ate apparently quite effective.

Pheromones for women and men alike can drive a person who was already finding themselves drawn to another over the edge. The power of the impulses created by these hormones are that they can help melt away some of the initial apprehensions and filters we as humans put up when considering making a "move." In a way they help us get out of our own way and give us a chance to react in that more animal like way. Self consciousness and similar feelings based solely on societal pressures and internal hang-ups can make meeting that special someone difficult. Luckily evolution or God or whatever it is you choose to believe in can occasionally kick in and make for a better version of you.

Getting into it with another person can take bravery and a cool calm attitude. It is no coincidence though that we are built with a built in instinctual need for affection and a built in instinctual way of making that known. We are animals looking to keep our species alive. Pheromones are there to help it happen.
