Hair fall is a major problem faced by lot of youngsters. Ayurvedic treatment for hair fall provides long term and lasting solution for this problem. Most people lose 50 to 100 strands in a day; this can increase to 250 on days when hairs are washed. But by avoiding washing you cannot keep them because eventually they will fall off.

Each hair follicle has its own life cycle and that would be affected by diseases, nutritional neglects, age and variety of other factors. Often the hair fall increases during change of season, stress, typhoid, and protein and macro-micro nutrients deficiency.

The life cycle of hair can be divided into three phases Anagen (hair growth phase), Catagen (transitional hair growth), telogen (resting phase that last for 2-3 months). Around 90% of strands on scalp are in Anagen phase that is the growth phase and as people age this growth rate reduces.

A wide range of medical conditions can lead to hair loss most common being anemia, thyroid disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, skin conditions such as psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis. Women often lose their hairs during pregnancy, post pregnancy and menopause.

Ayurvedic treatment for hair fall includes hair oils processed in herbs and essential oils which improve circulation in scalp reduce seborrheic dermatitis. One of the combination which promotes hair growth, improve strength and shine of hairs is Jatamansi and Hibiscus nourishing hair oil.

Jatamansi and hibiscus nourishing hair oil contains bhringraj, jatamansi, hibiscus, and shikakai, essential oils of wheat germ, rosemary, and black pepper. These herbs are processed with Mustard oil. Bhringraj known as ‘king of herbs’ is being used for hair growth from ages, Ayurvedic text describe its use in hair fall and grey hairs.

This fact is now supported by modern research that application of bhringraj can stop hair fall and results are comparable with other over the counter products. Shikakai is used to control dandruff, promoting hair growth and strengthening hair roots.

The essential oils of wheat germ, black pepper improve the microcirculation in scalp and provide essential nutrients to hair roots. The regular application of Jatamansi and Hibiscus hair oil not only stops hair fall but also gives relief from split ends and dandruff.
