Hotels in Lowell, Massachusetts: Lowell has a great few museums and some fun things to do; here are a few to whet your appetite, if you are planning on a holiday here. This area had cotton mills and it is fitting to visit the Boott Cotton Mills Museum, to see the changes and have some understanding of this history.

Then you can go to the New England Quit Museum and see the work of women through history, using textiles. Keeping with the theme of textiles there is the American Textile History Museum; this museum had a make over in 2008 and is now even more appealing.

If you want to get physically involved in art then visit the Revolving Museum, as here is a museum that is for the creation of public art projects. Lowell National Historical Park is the oldest urban National Park in the USA. This park offers the visitor the chance to get an in-depth look at America's industrial revolution.

There is the Kerouac Park; this is a memorial to the writer Jack Kerouac, who wrote five novels set in his home town of Lowell. There is the Whistler Hose Museum of Art to visit, which is the birth place of James Abbott McNeill Whistler, the artist. For family fun, that is lighter, then you can go to Connector Indoor Batting.
