As a Spiritual Being You are Eternal
The mind, body, spirit metaphysical self does not die. It merely changes form and continues on to its next creation. It is eternal. This is a concept that we need to think about. Once you are able to register this concept into your belief system, you open yourself up to a whole new way of thinking about death.
First of all, you don't have to fear death. You understand that your physical death, in this particular incarnation, doesn't mean that you have used up your one and only chance at life here on earth. You may choose to try it again . . . and again . . . and again . . . and again (and indeed you have).
Your mind, body, spirit metaphysical self is still the creating machine it was on earth. When it leaves this physical plane and returns to the realm of the absolute, it is re-membered with the joy, peace and love that is the core of God.
We have all heard many stories about people with near death or return from death experiences. Almost all of them relate how wonderful and peaceful and loving they felt in that experience. Most of them did not want to return to the physical world, but they had more yet to do here on earth, and were thus returned here for whatever reason to complete their unfinished business.
Another powerful reason that you don't have to fear death is because you understand that you are not being judged for your life experiences and will therefore not be condemned to hell if you don't pass those judgments. Within the concept of unity and oneness, there is no such place as hell, as we humans have constructed in our minds.
Now, you can live a life that seems like hell to you. A lot of people do. That is because they have constructed such an existence by creating it with their God-given powers of creation. Remember, you have free choice to do with life as you will.
Whether you create a life of peace, joy and love, or a life of prejudice, hate and fear is entirely up to you. You decide on and create all things in your life as a spirit child of God. In every moment you decide who you are. God observes and experiences, but does not judge.
The soul part of the mind, body, spirit self is the part that tries to guide you toward that element of yourself that is pure love. The soul part of you is your direct link to God. It is the voice in your head that tries to bring ultimate truth to your thought process.
You decide if you want to listen to this voice and incorporate its messages into your creations. This process is ongoing throughout your life, and you are at total choice to hear and use these ongoing messages from your inner guide.
Whether you listen or not, or whether you make your choices out of love or out of fear, does not affect the ultimate outcome of your life. The ultimate outcome of your life is assured. You are eternal, and upon your earthly physical death you will always return to God, because that is all there is.
You are one with God at all times, and you are ultimately re-membered with God. You are not separate from God, so the ultimate outcome of your life is never in doubt.
If you buy into the paradigm of separation, which most of the world does, you can understand why you would think that the outcome of your life is in doubt. Unfortunately, this doubt has given free reign to one of our greatest enemies, which is fear.
Here is how the scenario goes: If you doubt the outcome of your life, then you must doubt the creator of your life. If the creator of your life is God, then you must doubt God. You don't have confidence or trust in God because you have doubt about the outcome of your life.
If this is so, then you must live in fear because your doubt translates into mistrust of what you believe God to be. You begin to doubt God's ability and your need to trust in this ability to produce this critical part of the human life journey, the end of it. If you have doubt about it, then you must be fearful of what you think lies beyond that doubt.
You cannot love something you cannot accept. You do not want to accept the unknown, so you turn to fear because you have been taught to fear the unknown. This you do, and it is in this fear that we experience the elements of our lives that help define who we are, by showing us who we are not.
We are not fear.
To understand this concept of ourselves, we need to explore those aspects of ourselves that we are not. At our core, just like God, we are not fear. At our core, just like God, we are love.
