Dickies Asia Scrubs - Classically Exotic, Stylishly Functional!

The designs in the Asia Collection are deeply influenced by popular styles and trends in the ready to wear market. For the past few seasons, many high fashion designers have been incorporating more of an Asian influence into their clothing. Additionally, Asian culture has been experiencing great popularity in media, the arts, and even the film release of "Memoirs of a Geisha". Dickies is now making this style available to nurses with prints inspired by silk fabric printings and Asian art, and bold, stylish cuts that are flattering on any woman.We had an opportunity to sit down with Margot Diamond, a designer at Dickies Medical, and learn a little more about this unique new collection. Margot describes the collection as "Relaxed yet clean and polished. A look that is coordinated and stylish yet simple and flattering to all. Feminine, yet professional". We're inclined to agree. The newly introduced Asia Pant is a very modern take on the hugely popular Hip Flip Pant, featuring a wider leg, with a rounded hem, Asian embellishments on the side slits, and Dickies signature "hip flip" waistband. The Asia top features a Mandarin collar, with two invisible side pockets and a rounded hem. When we spoke with Margot, she was also quick to point out that "The cut is slightly shaped but not too tight or fitted. The comfort factor, the unique, yet flattering neckline, and overall professional, yet trend forward look will make the Asia collection very well received in the workplace".The top is available in six brand new prints, with soft feminine colors and lots of detail. The solid pants and tops come in five shades (Black, Dickies White, Emerald, Lilac, and Truly Blue) and between these colors and the prints, the coordinating outfits are endless. Also, Margot points out that for women who already own Dickies scrubs, "This group has both classic Dickies colors and newly adopted colors. All colors are available in other Dickies categories so groups can be mixed and matched."
