Win Cash - Prizes - Products Online

There is an under advertised, secret, underground society that searches and crawls throughout the entire Internet searching for Internet gold.

No, I am not talking about actual gold nor anything to do with pornography, computer hacking or Alaska King Crab, but free products, prizes and sometimes even hard cold cash, or perhaps cash that comes with a toaster oven, then it would of course be warm, all from the internet.

Now, I'm not suggesting that you can turn your computer into a magic lamp and just by turning it on every morning, cash and prizes will come popping out. I am talking about a society of people that may look very normal to you and I but deep inside they are possessed.

They are so convinced that if they spend enough time in cyber space that the computer Gods will rain down on them all sorts of cash, prizes and products, and all it takes is just about all of your time and large part of your mind.

At one point in time I remember PT Barnum stating that "There is a sucker born every minute" and the Internet is no different. It turns what were once very normal people into bug eyed, glassy eyed cyber-spaced out zombies who live, breath and eat anything and everything that has to do with getting free stuff online.

Now I might be exaggerating just a bit but there is a certain cult or type of people out there that are obsessed with filling out every sweepstakes form, contest or survey, all in the hopes of winning something.

Now I realize that you can from time to time win a contest or sweepstakes or such, but at what cost? Having a hobby is one thing, but when you take all your waking moments, ignore everything around you just to fill out forms, answer surveys and mail stuff in, at what point has this become your only form of life?

I have seen this happen. About ten years ago my Mom and my Sister belonged to that society. And they did all this without a computer. They were using a Web TV. This was a device that was once a big crave back then because it was cheaper than a computer and worked through your TV set.

They met this lady who started a web site that for a monthly fee you could sign up and she would provide links and sites where all the prime places were where you could sign up for free products, win prizes and sometimes small amounts of cash.

The surprising thing was is that in the first year or so they were winning small products, tickets for shows and even 20 or 30 bucks fairly consistently. However they were spending all their free time just to do this. It is all they talked about and they lost interest in everything else. After about a year or so the lady with the web site disappeared with everybody's monthly fee, closed down the web site and my Mom and Sister went back to almost being normal.

I guess now my point would be; you can make a few bucks or even win a couple of prizes from the Internet but watch out! Make the Internet a small hobby not your life. The Internet can be dangerous to your health! Don't become part of the secret society!
