Taking proper care of our wellbeing is extremely important. There are numerous ways we could do to maintain our level of health and fitness despite of the stressors we are all facing every single day. Below are some of the easiest ways we can follow to slum off extra pounds away while keeping ourselves emotionally and mentally fit.

Exercise

Discipline yourself to exercise a minimum of 3 times a day. Exercise doesn't mean we are adding more stress to our body. Simply by doing cardio-exercises at least 3 times each week, such as walking, running or biking, we could help maintain our system healthy. For it to be more exciting and fun, we could integrate other forms of cardio-exercises including dancing, aerobics or Tae bo and Yoga after Half an hour of walking or running.

Eating healthy foods

Although it is inevitable to say no to almost all the unhealthy foods we see every day, but disciplining ourselves by consuming more fruits and vegetables instead of pizzas and sodas could help us lower our blood cholesterol and sugar levels in the blood. In so doing, we are helping ourselves to live for a longer time.

Meditation and Prayer

Being healthy isn't just limited to our outer physique. To say we have been healthy, we must be mentally fit at the same time. Bear in mind that our mind is like our body that should be taken care for. To maintain inner calmness, we can do prayer meditation at least 5 to 10 minutes after exercise. The objective of which is to rejuvenate the energy we lost as a result of different stresses and mind boggling problems we all face every day.

You will find several ways to keep ourselves healthy. To be able to know our needs, we have to listen to our body.
