Car Enthusiast? Car Buff? Check Out These Car Shows! Awesome!

It does not matter if you are a car enthusiast or just a buff with an interest in cars; you just have to check out some of the car shows; at least once in your lifetime. You will never encounter anything like it again... unless you go to another one. After the second one, you might get addicted.

The first car shows began in the early 1900s. 1901 actually, in Chicago Illinois, and according to news documentation debuted 36 different makes of autos. At that debut car show, 113 different autos were there. What a start to an awesome trend! After that, came the shows in Detroit, Los Angeles and New York, all of which also started in the early 1900s.

There are many car shows all across the country with a few of them being the most popular; those being the shows in Detroit, LA, Chicago and New York, which are held each year. Frankfurt, Geneva, Paris and Tokyo also hold huge shows but their exhibits are only held once every other year.

Let us briefly look at a few of the U.S. shows and some of the accessories they feature. Back in the "old" days, accessories were rumble seats and rear view mirrors. Now, it is CD players, GPS systems and more.

The big international car shows we see today feature not only top of the line vehicles, but high tech accessories as well. Here are some of the accessories displayed at the shows.

An accessory called a Kiwi Wi-Fi is a wireless device that hooks a car's OBDII to your iPod or iPhone. The gauges on it accurately display miles per gallon being used by your vehicle, diagnostic checks and more. Lizard Skin Sound Control is a spray for the speakers connected to your car audio system. It quiets vibrations and scratchy sounds. This one sounds really good and would be a big benefit for any motorist.

It is called the Mobileye C2170. They are available for any vehicle on the road. It lets the driver know if they are unintentionally crossing over into another lane of traffic, or if an accident is close at hand.

The Perimeter View VN2225 Multi-View Camera has mounting options and is controlled by simply pressing a button. It gives the driver a wide view of the back area outside the vehicle while backing up and helps to position the vehicle in the right spot when getting ready to hook up a boat trailer or other things using a hitch.
