Comme Des Garcons: The “Deconstructor”
Comme Des Garcons was started by Rei Kawakubo in Japan. The fashion line was first made open to the public in 1969. Since then, the line has branched out to 12 boutiques and over 200 merchants from all across the world. The line is famous for its eccentric patterns and the odd combination of fabrics. Their designs are deconstructed to fit the taste of women who want to look different and stand out. This is the very same reason why renowned celebrities like Alexander McQueen, Kanye West, Mary-Kate Olsen, Selma Blair, and Justin Bieber love the brand so much.
