Got Money Worries? Will Payday Loans Help Or Not?

by Jackie De Burca

In the run up to Christmas we have the pressure of present buying, during the summer holidays the financial pressure of bringing the family on holidays, birthdays dotted here and there during the year, and plenty of reasons to have money worries. Although the media criticise faxless payday loans, some people have found them to help them get out of a tough spot financially which has then enabled them to make a plan to deal with their money worries long term.

Much of the media would advise not to touch payday loans in any situation. However payday loans lenders fight back against criticism saying that they can be ideal for some people during a month like January. January is only one of the many examples we all know about that come to haunt us during the year, if we already have some money worries.

Whatever the time of year do bear in mind that even reputable payday loans companies warn that their service is to be used purely as an emergency solution and not as an easy answer to getting some cash for luxuries or nights out on the town. The trick is to evaluate the financial landscape for the month, knowing the incoming and out goings and then apply for a payday loan under some special circumstances.

Let's face it; even for people who are good with money, January is possibly the toughest financial month of the whole year. The majority of the population has spent more money than normal in December; has had time off work which means more spare time in which to spend money and it is also an extra sociable time of the year with parties and family events. This means that when January arrives, with it comes bigger credit card bills, regular bills that need to be paid and that feeling of going back to work after time off. It is this situation that may tempt some people to use payday loans in the wrong way to stave off the January blues, but they will be making their January and maybe even February financial blues even worse.

The flip side of this coin is that payday loans can be a great help in order to deal with bill deadlines. There are bills which are much better to be paid, even with the help of a payday loan, than not to be paid until it is too late. Utility bills are an excellent example of bills which should be addressed immediately.

Credit card bills and mobile phone bills should be paid promptly as left unpaid they can in fact affect your credit rating, as of course can bad debts on utility bills. Being select and wise about prioritising during January financially can prepare a more positive financial year for you and yours. This is why payday loan companies will argue that actually payday loans can be the ideal solution in January. They are in fact a short term financial solution, with a fixed fee, once the monies are paid back in the required time period.

Whether it is January, birthdays, car emergencies, home maintenance emergencies, or being able to pay for the family holiday at the cheapest rates, used properly there is no doubt that payday loans can help out. Used incorrectly, payday loans will only increase a person's money worries.
