It comes as common sense that in the field of chiropractic medicine is a profession that has many professional associations promoting the field. While providing a complete and comprehensive listing of the chiropractor organizations would be difficult to do, we have come up with a listing of three of the most well known ones.
The International Chiropractor Association
The first organization of note is the International Chiropractor Association (ICA) which is an organization global in scope. One of the main problems is that the chiropractic method is pretty new and many people over the world do not see it as being in the same group of traditional medicine or other divisions of the medical field.
The International Chiropractor Association is trying to change that perception by sharing the benefits of chiropractic medicine across the world with hopes to see it held in the same regard as other methods.
Domestic Chiropractor Associations
Shifting from international to domestic, we have the America Chiropractor Association (ACA) which is a governing body not unlike the ICA. When you first look at it, the ACA looks similar to a labor union, but it is not. It is more like a professional or trade association that seeks to create a platform for the continued growth of the chiropractic field. In additional, this association also acts as a group for doctors and patients alike.
The Christian Chiropractor Association (CCA).
The CCA is a United States based Evangelical Christian chiropractic organization whose origins begin with missionary work overseas. These days, they provide a collective body for fellow Christians to provide both the furthering of the chiropractic field and to also provide a faith based charitable initiative to members of local communities, and the CCA’s goals are thoroughly noble.
The list could go on and on, but these are a few of the main ones who are working on changing the perspective of this incredible field.
