1. Personal Development

by Ab van Deemter

There has been a time in my life that I was only chasing money and personal success through money. For quite some time I managed to live a wealthy life with lots of so-called friends. And although I had lots of fun during that time, I lost everything because I lacked a real important thing in my life:

- Personal Growth -

I forgot how important it is to work hard to become my very best me and to be able to live my full potential.

I thought that personal development came automatically, as long as I worked hard to earn more money.

My teacher and mentor Christopher Beaver – Telluride (CO) taught me how much more important it is to constantly ask myself: “Who have I become”, instead of “What do I have”.

He taught me that what I become in life is directly related to what I get.

So, I had to learn to accept that what ever I had that day (which was nothing anymore by the time I met him) I had attracted by what I had become by that day.

In other words: before I lost everything, my income in my life had taken a lucky jump and since I had not learned to handle the responsibilities that come with it, it had shrunk back to the amount that I could handle.

So, I learned that

- To Get More Than You Have, You Have To Become More Than You Are

So, are you consciously working on your personal development?

If not, I suggest you start taking some action today!
