The Cold Truth About the World of MLM
MLM or Multi Level Marketing might seem like a good way to make online money, if you haven't been able to do so in the past. But, it is actually a part of internet marketing that is crammed packed with stories of how others have cheated, scammed and taken advantages of one another. Does that sound like something you want to be involved in? Surely, this will not be an option for you. But on the other hand, you might still want to give this doomed field a try. If you ever feel like you are still considering multi level marketing, hopefully the following reasons will snap you back to your senses.
It has been said that MLM get you the best opportunity, and business model, that is available today, especially if you want consistent cash flow. This is not true. The truth is that less than one percent of people who take on MLM actually earn a profit. By simply starting your own business online, you have a better guarantee of making money. For the most part, MLM is an unreliable business model that is hard to work and make money for a variety of reasons. If there is a simple bookkeeping error, the whole system will crash.
They want you to view MLM as something else other than the pyramid scam that it really is, all because of the physical products that are being sold. The truth is that the way in which MLM is set up is almost exactly like those pyramid schemes. It does not mean that you are not being scammed just because you are selling physical products and not mailing money. This has become so hard to figure out, though, that the courts had to get involved. Now at least seventy percent have to be promoted and sold to non distributors. Anything other than this is considered to be a scam.
How many MLM programs have you seen so far that advertise how simple it will be to sell their products to the people you know? More to the point, how many of those same sites tell you how pleased your friends and family will be happy to join the program through you? These sites tell you that your friends and loved ones will be happy to work for you to sell your products to the people they know. In truth, asking people around you to sell MLM products can be a guaranteed way to offend friends and family members. You might be lucky enough to sell one or two items and you may even recruit a couple of people, but the likelihood of you recruiting enough people who will continue selling those high-priced products so you can earn commissions from their work is extremely unrealistic. At some point in everyone's life, they will try to make money on the Internet. In searching for a way to make money, you will often come upon MLM companies that are trying to get you to join. Stay away if possible! Even though MLM companies look very inviting, you should try to find some other way to make money on the Internet as there are so many to choose from. It is in your best interest to not waste your time with these businesses. What we have told you thus far is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. There are lots of other reasons to avoid it too.
