In the later months of pregnancy, swimming can be an ideal exercise because it keeps you active and soothes the strains and aches caused by your condition. The sense of weightlessness offered by swimming can be terrific.<br /><br />Make sure to consume plenty of folic acid while pregnant. Be sure to get at least 600 mg of folic acid each day to prevent birth defects. Try to get, at least, 400 milligrams a day before your pregnancy.
