Lloyds TSB signs multi-million pound HR outsourcing deal
Lloyds TSB has signed a five-year HR outsourcing deal with business services firm Xansa.
The multi-million pound deal covers HR functions at the bank including administration, recruitment and existing help-desks for training, advice and guidance, and general queries.
The service will be delivered by about 150 people situated in Xansa’s offshore delivery centres in India.
Xansa will work with Lloyds TSB to develop, host and support new recruitment and management information platforms and to transform HR processes.
The re-engineering of HR processes will allow the bank’s UK staff to focus on face-to-face support, policy guidance and other specialist HR services to employees and line managers, Lloyds TSB said.
The HR deal is an extension to Xansa’s partnership with the bank. It has already outsourced IT, finance and accounting processes, and a portfolio of industry-specific back office processes to Xansa.
