Use Fun Kids Gifts to Fill Up Your Goody Bags
What kid doesn't love a goody bag? They make great incentives for potty training, keeping their rooms clean, or fun give-aways for birthdays and other festive occasions. What is the difference between a good goody bag and a great goody bag? The goody's inside of course!
While putting candy and such in one used to be a sure fire way to make a kids' day, most parents now basically frown on too much candy. So, leaving out candy means we have to be more creative. This is where having a surplus of fun toys and cool items will come into play.
It's easy enough to put pencils and notebooks and other school stuff in a goody bag, but those can actually be disappointing for a kid. Just your everyday average pencils and paper is like cold pancakes without syrup. Personalizing them with the school name, colors, or mascot will make them even more special. School events where giving away goody bags like at a school carnival where you win a bag at ring toss or at the dunking booth becomes even more exciting when the contents of the goody bag commemorate that event. Not only do the kids get really cool prizes, but by having them emblazoned with the school name and even the date and event name adds that extra level of "Wow!" to the prizes.
And if you're in a situation where the kids' names are known, for instance, using goody bags as incentives, making each one personalized to that particular person adds that extra level of "care" to each bag. Adding names or event information on the bags creates a special memento that can be used again for lunch or to hold special toys at home. This creates a fun situation for everyone.
Holiday bags become a little more festive when they have been personalized. If you have a lot of people to make bags for, a more generic bag is fine but maybe add the event and year on the items inside the bag, or make them personal to the individual. And that's what holidays are all about, finding ways to make those holidays memorable for years to come.
Personalized goody bags really do make a difference!
