The shortage of RN's around the country would make this career a promising one. In addition to that, the US Department of labor estimates that the need for nurses will grow to as much as half million nurses in the next few years.

However, this welcome development on the demand of many registered nurses should be welcomed. Certainly, every registered nurse will earn good income which would not be less than $60,000 a year. As a matter of fact, it remains to be one of the most lucrative professions in the medical field which requires less education and at the same time even more affordable trainings.

In addition to that, registered nurses will find a lot of time for themselves as the work schedules is flexible. In fact, many nurses are working two shifts in different hospitals just to cope with the shortage of talents.

With good chances of landing a job, there is no doubt that registered nurse employment outlook will always be on the positive side. Aside from the fact that there is a shortage of talent around the country, the profession itself would promise to have a better pay. While many people are pursuing course outside medical field, it has always been the field that many will overlook. Yet, the compensation package and the salary is still something that one could not simply just ignore.
