Private Label Rights

Discover How to Get The Best Results

by John Sullivan

Are private label rights the answer to finding content for your sites? Well they can be, but it's not as simple as that.

Because private label rights products are a hot subject at the moment, there are many options available for obtaining them. It is possible to find options from free to paying $100 a month.

The problem is that the quality varies enormously with the products offered. Some are very well written, with good use of keywords and keyword density.

There are various options of subscription sites, where for a monthly fee you receive a certain number of articles and sometimes ebooks with sales pages included.

Just upload the pages with your links and it is possible to start selling immediately.

An important point to remember is that although these sites are normally limited in numbers, I have seen numbers between 200 to 2000, then potentially even paying for this content, it is not unique if you use it as is.

If it is difficult for someone to write, then private label rights can be a good option for getting information for a relatively cheap price. Remember that if you have articles written for you, the cost will be around $6-$12 per article. An ebook could cost $1000 or more.

Now many members of these sites that offer articles will not use them, but remember that there could be 2000 members with exactly the same content that could be used at any time.

Search engines are clamping down more and more regarding duplicate content and are penalizing sites with this. If you do a search on Google for example for a particular article it is possible to see how many times it appears with exactly the same content.

There is much talk now of unique content for websites, which of course is a good thing as it offers new information to visitors who are looking for advice or knowledge.

I would suggest to anyone thinking of using private label content to be cautious. While these products are a great time saver regarding research and writing, some care should be taken.

Many members of these sites receive the articles and immediately start using them as is. Now if the same article is already in the search engines 100 times for example, then it is not a good idea to use the article.

As time goes on, it is going to be more difficult to get away with content that is not unique. You may find your sites listed with content one day that is already displayed many times with other sites, then the site may be removed the next.

What are the best options then for private label rights? I recommend that if you are going to use them for content that you rewrite them. Now you have the rights to do anything you like with these products, so why not make them unique to you.

Many people will think that it is too much work. Why pay for these products and then rewrite them? Well the answer is you will save time doing research, it does not take too long to rewrite an article and at least you know it is not the same as hundreds of other copies on the Internet.
