Summertime is the bikini’s hottest season. In fact, bikinis have come such a long way from their modest beginnings that some parents are reduced to avoiding certain public pools and beaches to protect the innocence of their young.
Gone are the old days of keeping what doesn’t see the light of day under wraps. No matter where you go, you are more than likely to see more than you want to see, or maybe not. The once highly controversial bikini has taken the spotlight more than once and will probably continue to do so.
Believe it or not, bikinis are available in a variety of sizes ranging from small enough to fit inside an envelope to large enough to require a very small bag. Seriously, though, bikinis are manufactured for the petite woman to the large woman, the flat chested to the well-endowed, and the bottom heavy to the perfect hourglass shape.
