This saves the parent from having to spend time in the evening after picking up the child traveling to such classes. This is usually offered for an extra fee for the parents. Though sometimes the facility will pay for the sessions for all of the children, it is mainly the responsibility of each family.
Seeing that many times parents are busy and there could be many children in one of these facilities, communication through newsletters becomes extremely important. These could tell about calendar changes or general announcements. Many times volunteers are asked for when upcoming field trips are scheduled. There also may be spotlights on new or successful curriculum. The applications of a newsletter is limitless and a great tool used by administrators and parents.
